• The wall is marked with level especially, checked with straight edge or line & level by using the aluminum square tube, the highest spots are marked with a minimum 5mm thickness to control the overall thickness.
• The background should be suitably wetted at least 10 minutes prior to the application so that all trapped air is displaced & to facilitate the plaster to attain good contract & strength with the background.
• Plaster is to be mixed with the water & not water to the powder, with workable consistency, then apply the mix to the wall as per level strips marked as reference guidelines.
• The best results are obtained by applying a tight coat with firm pressure while using a trowel.
• The entire surface should be plastered in line & level, once it starts setting it can be finished with a final stroke of the trowel.
• Once the plaster is filled in the entire wall portion, it should be finished with a light application of water. the finishing is finally done with the slurry coat.
Low Density Higher Coverage: It has low density to provide better coverage, the coverage of ordinary gypsum plaster is 62 m2/tonn in 12 mm average thickness, and the Kaboon Gypsum Plaster has coverage of 90m2/tonn in 12 mm thickness. it contains 4% vermiculate for long-life strength to use directly on bricks, blocks,s, and RCC.
Â
Gradual Setting With no Shrinkage Cracks: The setting time of these plasters is 10 to 15 minutes which allows it to have strong bonding with the surface & better coverage. It does not suffer from shrinkage cracks leaving ugly marks & headaches to the end users.
Â
No Water Curing Required: Plasters do not require curing after application which saves valuable water consumption & time, thus helping in achieving early project completion.
