Reason for Introducing Gyp Bond
Kaboon Gyp-Bond is a bonding agent for Gypsum plaster & Sand cement plaster that enables preparation of Ceiling and wall surfaces (especially RCC surfaces) within 24 hours. Kaboon Gyp-Bond eliminates risk of debonding gypsum plaster or sand cement plaster from ceiling (RCC surface) due to its low suction background and continuously under pressure of gravity. It enables dual benefits of mechanical and chemical bonding, and completely eliminates the labour intensive hacking process and the risk of plaster de-bonding. Kaboon Gyp-Bond increases pull out strength by 5 times against conventional hacking process. New technology like aluminium formwork shuttering needs products like Kaboon Gyp-Bond to provide adhesion of Gypsum plastering

Application Procedure
Background Preparation: The surface on which the Gyp-Bond application is to be done should be clean, dry, and free from mold oil or any other agents. Any faults in the structure, particularly those which may lead to moisture penetration, must be rectified. Just before application of the Gyp-Bond, prewetting must be done with the help of a brush/roller.

Mixing: Mix material (Stear) properly with a clean rod to properly distribute solid particles in the solution.

Application: Use good good-quality paintbrush. The brush should be cleaned with enough water immediately after use. Apply with an even distribution of fine aggregates over the surface. Allow it to dry thoroughly for around 24 hours.
